Libby x Sir Litter—Seven Weeks Old

The pups had a BUSY week. On Wednesday, we spent several hours at K-9 Manners and More doing Volhard testing. Early Thursday, eight of the pups went to meet with a local Search and Rescue handler to be further tested for suitability for SAR work. Again, this took a couple hours.

Because of the intense heat (several days over 105) we really had to limit our field trips this week. However, the pups did get to have several new experiences as the cat finally let them play with the kittens this week, and they spent a good amount of time introducing themselves to my rabbits.

We've had a whole week with no accidents in the house. I don't know if this means I am potty trained, or the pups are. <grin> However, they do alert me when they need to go outside. It would be nice if they needed to go one or two at a time… but it's usually more like one pup realizes he/she needs to go and the other eleven say "Hey, ME TOO!!" :) Since I can only carry two at a time, the last ones are occasionally frantic before they get outside. LOL
