Spot

Spot is now waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge.  He was such a wonderful little dog, but he unfortunately had been born with a problem in his intestines which could not be corrected.  He died in Dec. 2005 at the age of six months.

Spot was dearly loved.  He had such a sweet and gentle spirit.  I'd planned for him to be a therapy dog due to his wonderful personality.  He made friends everywhere he went.  Even the neighborhood cats that generally detested dogs loved Spot and would come to play with him.  I lost count of the offers I had to buy Spot, despite his illness.  However, he was my constant companion and even if he'd gotten well, I'd never have been able to part with him.

Spot was a bit of an escape artist and refused to stay in the yard if I was in the house.  He would go over, under or through the 6' privacy fence, around the house, through the garage (the door was up 6" for the cats), through the cat door and back into the house within five minutes of being put in the back yard.  LOL

He was a favorite of several families who ended up with his siblings, and especially a favorite of children.

He was one of a kind.  We all miss him still.
