Libby x Sir Litter—Five Weeks Old

Pictures taken Wed July 26-Sat July 29. The pups are five and a half weeks old.

Amazing changes are taking place. Several of the pups now cry & try to climb out of the puppy pen when they need to go out to potty. While I'd planned to have them outside 24/7 by now to acclimate to the heat, it's just TOOO hot. So, the pups are staying outside from about 7:00pm until about 12:00pm. When it's not so blistering hot, they have had loads of fun exploring the yard and playing in the mud they make around the water dish. During the afternoon, I've been bringing them inside where they rest in the cool house.

I was sick early in the week (thus the late update) and the end of the week was very busy with field trips and visitors. The pups have had the opportunity to play with several children several times and they LOVE kids! I don't know what was more fun… watching them with the baby goats at Hughlene's or watching them with my friends' kids and grandkids.
